Self-Righting Capsize Recovery Boat

Ever since the Titanic, calling something “unsinkable” feels like tempting fate at the least. But hey, after looking at what this Self-Righting Capsize Recovery Boat can do we’ll take our chances.

This boat is called Thunder Child, courtesy of Safehaven Marine company. It has been developed to serve as a first-response watercraft for law enforcement and offshore patrol.

The unique feature of this boat is, of course, its stubborn reluctance to sink. It is especially impressive when you look at its self-righting mechanism in action. Even when completely flipped over, Thunder Child manages to find its balance and quickly recover after capsize.
