“Wikkelen” means “wrapping” in Dutch. Wikkelhouse is created by wrapping 24 layers of cardboard around a mold creating a single Wikkelhouse segment.
These 1.2 m deep segment can then be stacked together to create a house that is as big as you need.
Each segment weighs around 600 kg and needs no foundation to stand on. So you can place your Wikkelhouse in your backyard, on the beach, on the roof, or anywhere else, really.
The assembly on the spot takes only one day. If you decide to move, you can easily take your modular hideout with you.
